Community Times
Welcome to the second issue of Community Times, a monthly
electronic newsletter for The
Institute of Noetic Sciences Community Coordinators across
world. The Hopi Elders say, "These are the times...we
are the ones we have been waiting for."
This is the community group forum to share news from diverse
community groups, talk about best practices, and—most
importantly—share our collective wisdom as we work together and
separately to build communities of seekers dedicated to
exploring the nature of consciousness and spirituality.
In the IONS Community Group Network there are
over 200 community groups. Each one is as different as the people who
coordinate them, some with shared leadership, some as small as 3
people and others as big as a bioregion. Our hope with this
newsletter is to give the IONS Community Group Network a glimpse
into itself, an international learning community which supports
the IONS mission: Exploring
the frontiers of consciousness to advance individual, social,
and global transformation.
With each issue, clicking on the links to the left will bring
you to read about developments from IONS hubquarters, community
building programs and events that are catalyzing our communities
through those who live the value of "be the change." Browse
around and become acquainted with the latest and greatest news
which may be of benefit to your IONS Community Group. This is
