IONS Prez and Montana Noetics

Guess what happened when Helena IONS Community Group co-leader and workshop facilitator, Patrick Marsolek, encountered IONS President James O'Dea at the Language of Spirit Conference, August 2005, in New Mexico.

When Patrick went back to Helena, he shared with The Helena Noetics Group Coordinator, Joan Bird, and the group that James O'Dea would join him in giving a 4-day workshop. That event, 360 Degrees of Transformation, took place this past July 13-16, 2006 in Boulder, Montana.  Patrick, author of a newly published book on self-hypnosis, brought together 35 people this workshop to explore deep the transformative process.

Participants said the workshop was exactly what it promised to be: profoundly deep and transformative. As they journeyed through some shamanic practices, the group gathered notes. The Featured Circle Processes page contain a shared process initiated by James O'Dea called Psycho Synthesis. We include a write up of this on the Featured Processes page.

Patrick also shared some of the CD's he used to accompany the shamanic processes. Use this Link to Amazon to purchase the CD's. Patrick is a member of Montana's infamous Drum Brothers and is very adept with drumming. Many of these tunes stand alone for relaxation and trance work.

The White Fish, Montana IONS Community Group led by Gerald Askevold will be practicing Bohmian Dialogue. On the Circle Processes page of this newsletter, we offer guidelines for Bohmian dialogue which were written by IONS former managing editor, Chrisitian de Quincey and presented to the Seattle IONS Community Group when he presented on Radical Nature. You can read a wonderful article by Christian de Qunicey called Cosmos and Communion on subtle communication in the latest Shift in Action newsletter. You can find other articles on Bohmian dialogue here on the Featured Practice Page.
