These are photos from the last Stewardship
Council meeting in Memphis before the group reformed into
three councils: Elder Council, World Council, and Network
Council. Linda Hassler, IONS Community Group Leader and
Stewardship Council member, hosted an event for Edgar
Mitchell and James O'Dea. |

attracted several hundred people. Following the event, the
IONS Stewards met at Linda's house. |

This final
Stewardship Council meeting, before restructuring the Councils happened
almost two years ago and is
still very memorable for all who attended.
Here is what Linda wrote to council members about that exciting
event: "What a great weekend it was, and I was so grateful to
be able to rise to the occasion, host a major event for us, for
the community, for Edgar, and for James and Rose.
Without each
of you who were here and present for that electric final SC
meeting. It would not have been quite as memorable for me. If our
meeting together hadn't been so rooting-tooting exciting. I
might not have been able to stay awake! By all measures, I was
supposed to be tired. But that's what working together with
trusted friends is like - it keeps the fires going." |
